Sponsored by The 2005 World Sustainable Building Conference in Tokyo, its purpose was to "explore new potential in architecture through design of residence, a place for human dwelling"

My Concept:

My concept for this residence is to implement that same instrument of childhood intrigue, a magnifying glass, into an architectural element that also plays a functional role: saving energy.The phenomena of the magnifying glass will gathers infinite number of solar rays into one focal point.And in this Magnifying Glass House, I am using recycled conventional magnifying glass (5inch or 12.5cm in diameter) as exterior walls to bring in those potent sunlight into the system of trombe wall to both heat and cool an interior space.
